Vegan Challenge: Day 2

Welcome to my pages, thank you for stopping by. This entry is Day Two of my “7-day Vegan” challenge. SHARING IS CARING. Share this article if you care 🙂 Stay tuned for more, as I plan to continue to educate & inform, as well as document my progress in blog posts to come. I invite you all to join me, it’ll be fun!

Today I am gonna start with some Pig facts. I think pigs are cute. They are like fat curly tail dogs with giant snouts.

  • Pigs are extraordinarily intelligent. They are curious and insightful animals who are widely accepted as being smarter than young children of at least 3 years of age, dogs, and even some primates.
  • Pigs are extremely social animals. They form close bonds with other individuals and love close contact and lying down together.
  • Pigs are very clean, keeping their toilet area far away from where they lie down and eat. Even newborn piglets will leave the nest to go to the toilet within hours of birth.

So next time you might be compelled to call someone a “pig” for being sloppy or unclean….think again!

I too was guilty of wearing blinders in previous days, weeks, months & years, by over & over & over again, remaining ignorant to: the undeniable inhumane treatment to other living creatures & royal species on this Earth… by none other than… humans. I am horrified with regard to the matter, & get completely jacked up with a warranted rage within, when I so much as think about for one second, the way that our society has deemed the slaughtering of animals as a noncriminal act. ANY HUMAN BEING THAT HAS THE GALL TO MISTREAT, ABUSE, HARM, HURT, OR TORTURE ANOTHER LIVING BREATHING CREATURE SHOULD BE IMPRISONED IN A CELL WITH NO WINDOWS, FOUR WALLS PAPERED WITH PHOTOS OF SLAUGHTERED ANIMALS, & A BIG GIANT MIRROR TO FACE THEMSELVES WITH… NEXT TO WHAT THEY HAVE DONE… FOR THE REST OF THEIR NATURAL LIFE. That sounds about right. Either that, or hung….like in the old Wild West days in front of all their peers in the town hall like the spectacle they are. Heck, burn them at the stake for all it’s worth, they are the real Heretics of our day. These people are psychopaths, just as serial killers. They are the serial killers of the precious animal species. They are murderous people that deserve legal backlash & karmic consequences.

The Special Victims Unit (SVU) is the name of a specialized division within some police departments. The detectives in this division typically investigate crimes involving sexual assault or victims of non-sexual crimes who require specialist handling such as the very young, or the very elderly, or the handicapped. There certainly is room available in that slot of specialty for: crimes  against animals. Government can easily add this crime to their docket. I believe animal killers should be held accountable with the same laws & standards that convicted murderers are, such as being sentenced to Death Row,  life w/o parole, 23-hour lockdown, slop food & minimal human interaction for the duration of their days.

The accepted standard we were taught as children when we were vulnerable spongey students of the collective mind was all wrong all along. If you grew up in America, at least….you were told by sensationalism, media, propaganda, teachers, schools, TV programs, churches & marketing models that to consume the likes of bacon, lunchmeat, hot dogs, burgers, pork, chicken, beef, duck, turkey, lamb, Foie Gras, steak & lobster, meatballs & sausage, cheese, milk, butter, yogurt & ice cream, is ethical proper behavior. We were told that it is healthy & necessary for optimal health & nutrition, physical strength, endurance, well being, growth, & weight control when applied accordingly to various diet plans or bodybuilding strategies. For example, the Atkins diet promotes nothing but a protein packed strict adherence mostly via animal products. The theory behind Dr. Atkins’ diet is that by cutting down on starchy foods like potatoes, bread, and pasta and eating mainly protein and fats like meat, eggs, and cheese you can eat as much as you want and still lose weight. Holy cow! (no pun intended) Isn’t that a dream come true for most people!… It was contagious & trendy, folks were obsessed with this “all protein” fad & the craze of this particular diet swept the country at one time…giving the animal killing industry a big economic boost, I bet.

Here are some familiar examples of slogans, advertisements, subliminal messages & hypnotic repetitive suggestions that we grew up with: “Pork is the new white meat” “Milk does a body good!” “My Bologna has a first name…” And… “Happy Meals” are….well…HAPPY! Hamburgers & hot dogs are the All-American party favorite. “BallPark Franks” are the prime staple on the bleachers of all sporting events. My personal favorite…pizza, pizza, & more pizza! I am willing to bet that any one of the following pizza joints are less than a mile away from where you are right now…Domino’s, Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, Chuck E Cheese’s, or Little Caesars. Lets’ not even start the “chicken wings” industry conversation, it’s upsetting & appalling. We’ll save that awful demonstration of straight human debauchery…for a later discussion. It’s not okay, btw, to consume chicken wings. Not on “Gameday” not on 10cent wing nite, not cause your drunk at 2Am, and they just well….you couldn’t resist.

Mac & cheese is every kid’s favorite thing. And I am willing to bet that upwards of 85% of American restaurants nationwide offer “chicken fingers & fries” as the first item on the kid’s menu. Shit… diners, waffle & pancake houses, Denny’s, & Perkins everywhere would go out of business if we didn’t mass produce eggs by the thousands. The colorful dying of eggs at Easter time is considered an endearing family tradition. Eggs seem to be that go-to prime source of inexpensive protein that all demographics have access to no matter what socio-economic class they are in.

I gotta say…fish oil & krill oil is actually really just a disguised fancy snake oil, if ya ask me. Omega 3 fatty acids are found in flax seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, beans, leafy greens, berries, wild rice, honeydew, mangoes, herbs & spices…just to mention a few. It is simply not necessary to take this supplement…for any reason. Fisheries can be cruel operations just as the slaughter houses & factory farms. We will explore that subject matter later.

Then we have the wildly celebrated “Turkey day” better known as….. Thanksgiving. The Turkey has long been associated with the connection to the Earth and its blessings. This spirit animal reminds us of the importance of our relationship with the land and nature as a reciprocal source of nourishment and sustenance. It tells us that in order to receive the land’s blessings, we also need to honor the land. Isn’t that ironic? We behave quite to the contrary …..this sacred animal is shot instead, with hormones & antibiotics & then mass produced like lemon drops on a conveyor belt in a most invasive, unethical, inhumane, & criminally dishonorable way, just to DIE a tragic death essentially & go overstock supermarket bins everywhere. It’s shameful. The Thanksgiving holiday has turned into a greedy money market of Turkey killing. It’s a sham disguised as a worthwhile celebration of thankfulness. We shouldn’t need a holiday to practice gratitude anyway. Not to mention, the whole traditional historic truth on what we are even celebrating on that day, the story of Thanksgiving, is a farce. We were only told a portion of the truth. Native American Indians were tortured, raped, burned alive, beaten & killed shortly after that original “feast” circa 1614. Their land was stolen from them, & they were taken as slaves. Check this out> THE REAL STORY OF THANKSGIVING by Susan Bates

I have always been a positive person. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Christ, I just wrote a book called “The Book of Beautiful Feelings!” I realize that we all associate fun-loving, family, friendly, romantic, cozy, happy connection, affection, togetherness, warm & fuzzy feelings….with all the countless preparations of meat & dairy products that we have shared & prepared over the lengthy decades of our lives. Our memory banks are stored with fond significant recollections of these food memories. In times past, the use of meat & dairy in the cultural rituals & traditions we shared with each other even so far as defined us on some level & reflected our quality of life experience. Holidays & celebrations of all kinds were built around decked out tables or extravagant feasts with meat & dairy so proudly displayed… after much hard intricate careful kitchen craftsmanship & work. Most celebratory feasts seem to always showcase an animal guest of honor browned & decorated & lifeless upon the lovely spread rich with side dishes likely infused with cheese, milk & butter. Meals built with meat & dairy are used to reward, recognize, reach, bless, impress or inspire people, especially in the culinary world. The rabbit hole goes deep. I am fully aware of that. All the beautiful feelings associated with these foods are actually strung quite boldly & fluently throughout my book. I pay special tribute to American traditions, food customs & warm memories that most of us relate to that include meat & dairy. I obviously wrote the book before I woke up to Veganism. But it is still all good. The book contains all the relevant features of us as an “American Culture” & there is no harm in the capturing of that essence. It is essentially where we came from, & we cannot just discount our history. It is a part of who we are & that is a beautiful thing. And, I feel blessed, because going forward, I will now be able to look back & say that I have experienced the best of both worlds…. And, I chose to stick with the Vegan lifestyle based on knowledge & experience.

With that said: Book Synopsis <BUY BOOK HERE 🙂

As I was saying, I believe in the general goodness of humanity, I see the glass half full. I practice a life of gratitude & I would love to be able to sugar coat everything while wearing a sharp pair of rose-colored glasses. But, sometimes, ya just gotta say what has to be said…because it is the right thing to do. Revolutionaries, peacemakers, Nobel Peace Prize nominees, saints, prophets, gurus & great leaders were not docile inhibited people who were afraid to speak the truth in fear that it would tarnish their reputations, shatter perceptions, break belief systems, rules, laws, regulations, traditions or habits. Eg: Bono, Malala, Nelson Mandela, Bob Marley, Rosa Parks, Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Oprah Winfrey.

With that said, If I could picket outside in front of every single slaughterhouse nation & worldwide, I would spend my life waking up on the lawn of a different house of horrors every single day if I had to….just to wake up: EVERYONE ELSE. Not to mention the IMMENSE carbon footprint that factory farming is responsible for leaving. It is the #1 cause of climate change/global warming beyond ANY OTHER action or operation in the world. Should I repeat that?

I will not support the unnatural senseless, unnecessary murder of animals any longer. From this day forward, I will choose to be an animal rights advocate &  will boycott any & all animal products within my own personal domain.

I will be the first to admit, that a Chef trained individual aspiring to go Vegan, like myself… will certainly be at odds with what they were taught with regard to traditional French cuisine, the history of food & all the several generations of classic techniques & traditions passed down as gifts to be cherished, & recipes to be treasured, persued, & practiced. I myself certainly am having an inner conflict. I am an adventurous explorer of all foods. Food is Art to me, & I have a sincere & well-developed palate of appreciation for all food groups & the endless variations of creative flavor, texture & combination that defines the Culinary world.  Anthony Bourdain’s adventures across the globe to expose & explore all sorts of different cultural traditional cuisines, styles, street snacks & what not….is fascinating to me. I am an advocate for the Culinary fantasia that is inspiring, delicious, artful, creative, magical, alchemical, ritualistic, classic or nouveau & beautiful. But, by no means do I endorse what is happening on an industrial scale in our world & society at large. I believe that to partake in the indulgence of an animal is a very sacred & special privilege & should not be simply revered as a common commodity that you may just roll into any Walmart & buy for 2-20$ in the “factory possessed” meat dept.

When I was a Culinary student 12 years ago, one day, our Chef Instructors told us that we had to come to class the next day prepared to kill a live lobster. I was absent that next day.

As a Culinary Artist & food stylist, I am required to work with all types of ingredients. It is my job & duty as a food professional to have this skill set. We were taught that this is morally correct according to collegic standard & the American Education System with regard to a Culinary Arts program, degree, certificate or diploma.

Hunting for survival or Native American tactic & technique is one thing…A caged-free, free range chicken that lays eggs on the local family owned farm is acceptable to some extent once in a while, fishing can be a fascinating endeavor & experience on appropriate occasions. But, have you ever gone to an aquarium & visited the lobster tank? Well….I have. These guys are like giant prehistoric monster creatures, that seem to have the ability to communicate with their eyes through the glass. They are amazing & beautiful creatures that appear to be conscious actually.  I do not believe they should be hurt, captured, harmed, or killed for food. It is simply not fair, moral, right or necessary to ever eat a lobster. Period.

Pescetarianism /ˌpɛskəˈtɛəriənɪzm/ (also spelled pescatarianism) or Pesco-Vegetarianism. It is the practice of following a diet that includes fish or other seafood, but not the flesh of other animals. Now, I just might be inclined to label myself accordingly if I must. But, I certainly will not ever choose to overindulge on the matter or ever eat a lobster. And, fresh-caught, unprocessed, nonfactory seafood will be my only option EVER. So if you have such conditions as Hypoglycemia or Diabetes & your daily dietary requirements are to have mostly fruit, complex carbs & protein, this Pescetarian diet might be suitable. (refer to protein chart; click on protein guide; see complex carb list)

These whole plant foods are great sources of complex carbohydrates:
  • Green vegetables.
  • Whole grains and foods made from them, such as oatmeal, pasta, and whole-grain breads.
  • Starchy vegetables such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, and pumpkin.
  • Beans, lentils, and peas.

The Native Americans were beautiful human beings that celebrated the sacred nature of everything. From the rock on the ground, to the fire in the pit, to the rain, to the sea, to sleep, to sex, to survival, to the humane hunt & kill of any living creature that had to die for the purpose of human nourishment. That animal was respectfully surrendered. That is the way it should be done, if indeed it must be done at all.

Our society has crowned the over indulgence of dead flesh…KING of our food pyramid. That is hypocrisy of the strongest sort. It’s a wrong recommendation & a wrong ideal. It is a lie. It is NOT the healthy best most nutritious option & choice.  And no longer do I believe that we have the right to even do such a thing! Why? it’s very simple. It is excessive, extremely violent, disrespectful to Mother Nature, greedy, lustful, gluttonous, & so goddamn UNNECESSARY for our survival. Not to mention, KILLING US ALL SLOWLY…via:

Cancer, diabetes, stroke, heart disease, high blood pressures, deficiencies, disorders, diseases, conditions, headaches, heart attack, anxiety, stress, illness, unrest, volatility, anger, arguments, abuse, pain, depression, sadness, grief, addiction, terminal illness.

Plants predominantly contain an extensive abundance & variation of phytonutrients, whereas the phytonutrients contained in meat products are fewer, as well as not even worth the risk of potential collateral damage to our bodies in the long run.

phy·to·nu·tri·ent
ˌfīdōˈno͞otrēənt/
noun
plural noun: phytonutrients
  1. a substance found in most plants which is believed to be beneficial to human health and help prevent various diseases.

In addition, a plant-based diet generally helps to minimize the consumption of Gmo’s, MSG, processed foods, artificial ingredients, harmful fat, cholesterol, & poisonous sugars which endanger the human body as opposed to nourish it, leading to sickness & disease. Not to mention… the following interesting example demonstrates how important it is for us to recognize that the food we eat becomes a part of us alchemically.

Fact: When a person donates say, a kidney to another person, the cells in that kidney are alive with the DNA that contains the memories of the donor. Studies show, that it is actually possible for the recipient to then experience emotional ties to the donor’s memories, simply because now he has the donor’s kidney melding with his own DNA, they integrate & mingle, & it truly is possible for the recipient to now experience the memory fragments contained in the cells of that organ.

When Deepak Chopra said: “We are what we eat” That is what he meant. He was simply saying that the energies of the living cells inside the particular food item that we choose to eat, are going to be inevitably transferred over not only to your body & digestive system, but also to your DNA, cell memory, neurons, and essentially acclimated to your life force energy…manipulating it accordingly. We do then in truth, indeed become what we eat.

group-pigs-called_4b3fc90d7588edb7

If a pig is screaming at the time of slaughter, in a state of fear & violent resistance, grief & torment… the toxic emotions will be inevitably stored in the pigs cellular DNA. No wonder why we continue to breed a race that continues to suffer, struggle & endure pain, sadness, & fear….BECAUSE WE CONTINUE TO EAT IT! It then becomes us.

When we fry that bacon up in the pan so innocently on Sunday morning & strategically place it next to the high fructose corn syrup smothered pancake & caged, non-organic chicken fetuses….whose hen mother was likely herded in an overcrowded pen, treated like shit, force-fed, stressed out, & shot with antibiotics……We are essentially feeding our loved ones toxic karma. What we were raised to believe is nourishment for our families is actually the complete opposite. Not only is dead flesh in fact dead as opposed to alive with life force energy… containing many toxic elements that contribute to heart disease & cancer…but, also its dead flesh is the harbinger of the likely experience of toxic emotion on some level. A significant amount of our experience of toxic human emotions could be directly related to the animals toxic cellular DNA memory during its imprisoned, herded, life & likely irrational, inexcusable, unnecessary, profane, immoral, painful, tragic, death. You get the picture. We are indeed….what we eat.

With that said, a plant-based diet is composed of mainly fresh, living, food options that contain vitality, living life force, natural vitamins & nutrients that exceed nutritional expectations. Consuming plant-based foods allows Mother Nature to pass the sacred gifts of all 4 life-giving elements over to us: Water; Air; Fire (Sun); Earth. When the cellular & molecular electric vibration of food that is plant-based & alive integrates with human DNA it is essentially blessing all the organs, blessing the body, blessing our vibration, blessing our health, wellness, & enhancing our human experience thereof. The superior alchemy of a plant-based diet is far more enchanting, energizing, nourishing, uplifting, elite & beneficial than any kind of omnivorous diet could ever possibly be. Period.

Cows, Pigs, ocean creatures have spirits & souls too. Not only do their bodies go through a series of unfortunate events when people capture & kill them, but their spirits get squeezed out of them with ungodly force. It’s disgraceful, deplorable & all of the above. All of the above doesn’t even cover it…actually.

I am so disgusted at how the vast majority of people in our modern day current society & pop culture just appear to accept such a false fascist based belief system without even question or research. What ever happened to individuality? Whatever happened to our ability to see beyond lies & manipulative brainwashing? We are not meant to be blind followers. We are creatures of light that were put here on Earth to rule it with kindness & grace. To have domain over all the Earth & its inhabitants is a powerful privilege & a sacred responsibility granted to humans for the purposes of harmony, health, wholeness & balance…not for the abuse of agriculture, animals & the elements… for the sole purpose of greed. That is unacceptable behavior on our part, as humans. I think we should seriously reconsider our approach to the acceptance of a dictatorship like this, endorsing false principles that the “powers that be” deem correct, proper, & honorable. There is NOTHING honorable in the murdering of an innocent creature. Nothing manly about eating a lifeless piece of dead flesh on a plate.

Meet Ralph 🙂 <<click here for a fun YouTube Vegan spin from a Strapping Young Strong Man. In this video, Ralph, a psychologist, life coach, alchemist from Infinite Waters gives us a survey perspective of what people report, after starting the 7-day Vegan challenge.

The acceptable belief that it is ethical to chemically induce, mass produce & then slaughter millions beyond millions of animals daily in our world, for justification’s dynamic duo of: unnatural mass human overconsumption & the almighty dollar……..Is not only absurd, but diabolical.

Yes, you heard me…..DIABOLICAL.

di·a·bol·i·cal

dīəˈbälək(ə)l/

Belonging to or so evil as to recall the Devil.

“his diabolical cunning” “his diabolical plans”

synonyms:

devilish, fiendish, satanic, demonic, demoniacal, hellish, infernal, evil,

wicked, ungodly, unholy.

You would have to be complete evil to harm this beautiful animal for only the purpose of self-gratification & material gain1399673924_eeec39dad5_zHence: Diabolical.

It’s WRONG.

Just like child abuse, just like rape, just like child pornography, just like human trafficking, just like slavery, just like terrorism, just like every single criminal act man’s government condemns. Animals have rights too. And the only thing that separates us from them, is the human ability to think about what we are thinking about. We are conscious creatures with the ability to choose, the freedom of will as they say. Just because every other species doesn’t have that feature, doesn’t make them less than valuable or lower their worth with regard to the eco-system. The fact that they have no free will, is actually more honorable, because all that really means, is that they have already passed through the gate of spiritual evolution, & now are in complete unflawed alignment with Universal law. They don’t need to think about it….they just act on the instinct of the higher mind for the good of all beings. period. No complexity in that, no drama, no argument, no resistance, just natural unadulterated freedom & flow. They are woven perfectly into the Divine design from the minute they are born to the minute they die. There is no such thing as malice or greed or hatred within the animal kingdom.

Humans were essentially endowed with the freedom of will & choice, for the sole purpose for us to have a dominant noble rulership over the Earth and all its inhabitants in a most harmonious zen-like fashion for the holy sole purpose of serving the greater good, the highest good of not only humanity, but nature, life & all of the Earth & it’s creatures.

People make excuses. People act like we NEED the protein that dead flesh contains. Or that we need the omega 3’s or the Iron, zinc or Vit D or calcium, in milk, eggs & seafood. But it’s NOT TRUTH.

mommys-milkWe can get all those nutritional benefits 100 fold from a plant based diet. Period. No argument. No excuse.

People tend to call Vegans weird, or hippies, or they stereotype vegetarians as a weaker, less dominant brand of humans. But that’s all bullshit. Stereotypes & labels are such an injustice to the breed of people that are brave enough to change their habits by practicing a good bit of old-fashioned self-discipline, & who are brazen enough to stand up for what is our moral & ethical duty as human beings walking upon this earth. These people are leaders, good examples, shining representations of what a true good human looks like. Don’t let any false prophet bully your mind to the contrary. We were put here to protect & serve animals just as we would do for each other. To behave in a manner that is anything less is sheer corruption, not to mention a most severe violation to the cardinal rule of Divine countenance…”Treat others as you would want to be treated.” Luke 6:31 & Matthew 7:12.

Don’t you dare tell me that if Jesus showed up on this Earth today in a suit & tie with a great haircut….he wouldn’t be in the form of a top notch RockStar NYC Attorney with one bad-ass entourage for the representation of Animal Rights Activists. What would Jesus do? Fucking bring them all down in a Court of Law…til bills were passed, new laws were made & enforced in every state & district, slaughter houses were all shut down & the factory farming industry was put out of its misery. The death houses would no longer exist, the ghosts of all the slaughtered animals would be free to ascend into the light, no longer would we be spraying massive chemicals on endless fields of wheat & corn & vegetation for the purpose of feeding the over population of farm animals. The Agriculture Industry (Agribusiness) would be flipped upside down & local organic family farms would be restored back to good health if that is even possible. Our whole economy would revolutionize, & the hedonistic meat industry would be ostracized accordingly. The media would be compelled to tell the truth. Genetically modified foods would cease to exist because the chemicals would no longer be legal. There would be a significant economic boost from the natural organic vegan/vegetarian market, fresh produce & products. The energy & vibratory frequency of our planet would rise, reboot, rebalance & realign naturally. We would minimize sickness, disease, ADHD, depression, suicide, crime, war, addiction, abuse, violence, sin, sickness, & death. We would revolutionize the planet & elevate our human consciousness & status to a whole new next level. the greenhouse effect & global warming epidemic would subside & so would obesity, stress, unrest, imbalance, laziness, conflict, mental & physical illness. We would be a happier healthier better more brilliant race. Period.

That’s admirable, wouldn’t you agree? I would love to be able to say to my grandchildren’s children, that I lived in a generation that changed the whole game here on Earth, & I am proud to have been an integral participant in the movement to save the planet.

Seriously, Jesus needs to show back up here. We could use a modern spin on the whole outdated religious ruse of faulty, backward creeds & codes built on fear & control. We need a new example to follow, some new witty quotes to toss around, some new codes & creeds to model ourselves after & pass on to our children… that don’t take a big giant heavy misunderstood book to prove, called “Bible.” A fresh clear explanation of things that hasn’t been translated countless times in 70 different languages, through a whisper down the lane formula that constantly is misinterpreted in every possible way imaginable.

Maybe, I will just write one. The New Bible….channeled by JZapp….from the higher dimensions.
