From an enlightened standpoint, Ukraine's karma is coming up to be cleared, which, as unfair and ironic as it may seem, is progress in the right direction. It is a necessary evil, if you will, in order for this particular healing process to play out, but that doesn't make the reality of it any less gripping. I'm sure we could all agree, that walking in the war-torn shoes of a Ukrainian would be anybody's worst nightmare.
