Happy as a dog waggin’ two tails. Dolly Parton said that once. I’d like to be that today, and every day for that matter.
Life is a created reality that manifests itself via thoughts, feelings, and unfortunately…predisposed, either DNA, or, long practiced patterns of thinking. Karma is a big fat factor in the scheme of things, add a dash of destiny…and we have a recipe for life. Karma essentially is that “thing” that repeats itself, so, if a brain is creating a life of squalor, then karma repeats that creation.
The Art of Accumulation:
Wiring our mental pathways with repeated statements composed of various chosen content is what then creates life experience. Whether we are brainwashed into patterned thought or we deliberately choose the thoughts or have just innocently or ignorantly fallen into lazy thought trails, we are still accumulating. Whatever we essentially accumulate over time could be like dirty laundry or an attic, basement, or garage full of discarded dust collectors…and they become the very things or (thoughts) that are creating our reality in this very moment. Those things or thoughts are what essentially weave the fabric of our lives. Our brain can indeed become that garage full of great flea market items in need of a clean out. With all due respect…the art of accumulation could go either way, I’m not tryin’ to insult our human propensity toward accumulating things. Whether it be thoughts, experiences, books, photos, memories, mops, tools, kitchen utensils, magazines, cleaning products, purses, ties, toys, pens, socks, phone numbers, business cards, baseball cards, candles, whatever the traffic jam in the side door of the fridge might be, the papers sticking out of the glove box or the desk drawer, and lets not forget how many coffee mugs are in the cabinet. This chic has accumulated pet mice with very long tails…lol
Whatever it is we choose to accumulate, it’s our prerogative. Indeed, it’s our responsibility as well then also, to choose to accumulate things, ideas, thoughts, experiences, intentions & purposes that essentially benefit us and build us… as opposed to burdening us. Much like too many junk drawers or a bunch of old, unused, outdated or expired material items have the ability to make us feel weighed down, I guess…
Clean up! Clean up! Everybody clean up!
Just for today, let’s decide to not be hoarders, folks. Let’s clean out our closets, and have a yard sale….shall we? Or, just drag the trash can over… We can spring clean even in the Fall. Every change of season is an opportunity to examine our deepest beliefs about who we are and what we endorse. What kind of representative are you? Do you represent freedom and light and love? Or do you represent the monster within? or both? Heck, life is a balancing act. But the goal is to be the you that you deserve to be. Maybe some personal inventory is in order…Heck, I do mine on an hourly basis.
Wealth and prosperity feel light and free and uncontained by the burdensome effects of adverse accumulation. If we want to indeed flourish in innumerable ways and receive abundance from all directions then we must make room to receive. TO DO LIST: Remove clutter. Weed garden and flowerbeds. Take out trash. Donate unwanted goods. Team up with the neighbor & have a yard sale with free beverages & brats…or cookies & coffee. Everybody likes free! And, you will like it too, once you become lighter today…
Some days I just wanna be that gauzy curtain that moves with the breeze, catchin’ sun shadows on lazy days with a window seat and a lovely view, with not a care in the world. I realize though, that if I wanna be a breezy lightweight curtain, I need to pay close attention to my inner dialogue. If I wanna be happy as a dog waggin’ two tails….I best observe my personal accumulations. What’s in your attic? Hopefully not alotta weird doll heads. lol
